But it was even nicer to start the day with a swim in the complex pool, cook som at-home meals, and enjoy a respite from the hurly-burly that is growing Tucson in the oasis of Coronado Place."

“Our week was absolutely fabulous. We felt like we were on a retreat to some European villa. M & D have done an incredible job creating an amazing atmosphere. The landscaping and artistic touches have made it a feast for the eyes. Even though there are surrounding houses you feel like you are miles from anywhere. There’s quiet and privacy—even a luxurious hammock to do nothing in. The little outdoor breakfast area provided a relaxing spot to enjoy your morning coffee. It was so nice to have a kitchen in order to be able to enjoy real meals. So instead of feeling like you were vacationing in a motel—it was like having your own second home.

And then, there was the personal care and attention that D provided to make our stay truly memorable. She was such a gracious host. She took us all around the grounds and told us all the things that have been done, she shared her knowledge of the plants in her garden and her pets—there are chickens, guinea hens, 6 cats, and a horse. She made suggestions as to activities in Tucson that we might enjoy and even accompanied us to an art exhibit and lunch".

We just fell in love with Tucson as a city. The art, the food, the culture, the scenery. But what made it just fantastic was finding a treasure in M & D’s Casita. We have told all our friends and we can’t wait to return. ”
